The Walking Group meets on alternate Sundays starting from a venue up to 30 to 40 minutes’ drive from Kingston upon Thames. We start at between 10 and 10.30 am, and finish in time to get home or out for lunch. We take it in turn to organise 4 to 6 mile walks which normally take around 2 hours to complete.
We usually stop at a pub or café for a drink at the end of the walk.
We avoid very difficult walks and steep climbs but like to ensure that we walk at a reasonable pace to avoid it becoming a Sunday morning stroll.
