Second Ukranian Drop In Centre

Our second Drop in Centre was very successful with a truly wonderful team of volunteers who worked hard to provide a lovely afternoon.

We welcomed a  delightful local Russian / Ukranian / Israeli couple who were able to chat with the refugees.

We  were fortunate to welcome  some very interesting visitors, local Ukrainian and Belarusian who have settled here  as well as some of the  kind hearted hosts who have so generously opened their homes to these refugees.

Some  refugees enjoyed choosing clothes , children’s books and toys, others played the piano or table tennis and the children spent time in the Arts and Crafts corner.  Everyone partook of the  delicious refreshments while chatting in a very friendly atmosphere.

Our next Drop in Centre is Sunday 10th July and we look forward to welcoming some newly arrived refugees as well as some of our existing refugee  friends
