Mosaic School New Premises


Mosaic Jewish Primary School has now moved into its new premises on Roehampton Lane. Anyone who is interested in seeing the school is welcome to attend a Kabbalat Shabbat, which takes place on Fridays at 1pm. It is a lovely occasion with the children taking part and lasts about a half hour. Contact Susan Viner.

It has been another difficult week for Israel with the murders by Arab terrorists of Hadar Buchris (21) and Ziv Mizrahi (18) and the wounding of many others in the continuing wave of Arab terror attacks. Read more

On Thursday 19 November Arab terrorists murdered five people. An Arab terrorist murdered two Israelis and injured two others in Tel Aviv.

Postcard from Israel: 12 November 2015

Hazel Green has provided a “postcard” instead of her usual Israel Update.

Sadly the wave of terror attacks in Israel continues – there were three on Tuesday alone.

London Mayor Boris Johnson visiting Israel to promote economic and technology links with London charmed Israelis both with his jokes and unequivocal condemnation of anti-Israel boycotts. He also toured holy sites in Jerusalem.

However his trip to Ramallah was truncated as two of his meetings were called off – at least one of them in protest at his views.

This week saw the 40th anniversary of  the passing of the infamous UN General Assembly “Zionism is Racism” resolution, which was only rescinded 16 years later. Israel’s Ambassador to the UN at the time was Chaim Herzog (later President) and his speech made at that time is as pertinent today as it was in November 1975. Full text here:
